What’s your reservation policy? 

Reservations are encouraged for indoor dining. Walk-ins are welcome based on capacity limitations and are first come, first served. Reservations are limited to groups of 10 guests or fewer at this time and can be made, canceled, or changed via RESY. We kindly ask that you refrain from making multiple reservations for your group.

What do I wear?

While we don’t enforce a strict dress code, smart casual attire is encouraged. Please don’t leave your shoes or shirt (or pants, for that matter) at home.

CAN I BUY A GIFT CARD FOR CINDY’S?

Yes! Gift cards may be purchased through our online store here or in the restaurant. Please see the host at ground level for assistance!

What’s the parking situation?

Valet parking is available daily for $22.00 for up to 3 hours. Guests can also park in any of the Millennium Garages. We do not offer parking validation at this time.

Where are you located & how do I get there?

Find us on the rooftop of the Chicago Athletic Association hotel at 12 S. Michigan Avenue, just across the street from Millennium Park. Upon arrival, hop on the Express Elevator to Cindy’s (third from the right).

Are you open year-round?

Yes! Take in our panoramic views all year long – all regular dining tables are located inside our glass atrium. Our outdoor terrace is always accessible, with fire pits in the winter to keep you warm and terrace seating/outdoor bar open as weather allows in warmer months.

Can I bring my dog?

We love your pets, but only service animals are permitted in Cindy’s.

What if I have more than 10 people?

For groups exceeding 10 people, a private event can be arranged by contacting the events team at cindysevents@chicagoathletichotel.com or by submitting an inquiry here.

Are you kid-friendly? Are there restrictions for those under 21?

Guests of all ages are welcome at all times! We have high chairs for the little ones and a limited kids’ menus available upon request. Guests under the legal drinking age are invited to enjoy our non-alcoholic, spirit-free beverage options anytime.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We do our best to ensure all of our guests have a delicious experience – we are able to accommodate vegan/vegetarian requests and common allergies. For specific questions on our menus, please email us at cindysinfo@chicagoathletichotel.com and we’ll get back to you!

How late is the terrace open?

Per the city ordinance, the outdoor terrace closes at 11pm.

Is smoking allowed on the terrace?

No smoking of any kind – including e-cigarette, vape products, and cigars – is permitted at Cindy’s at any time.

Can I bring my own dessert or wine?

Our menu features a few dessert options that we think you’d enjoy. Otherwise, you can bring outside dessert/cake for a cutting/plating fee of $3 per person. We have an excellent wine selection, and our sommelier would be happy to make suggestions for your party – you may bring your own wine for a corkage fee of $35 per bottle.

Can I TAKE PICTURES?

You're welcome to take snapshots of your visit with us! Please note that all professional photography or staged shoots (from weddings & events to senior photos & commercial needs) require a permit obtained from our marketing department in advance, and fees may apply.
